About HukhLatri
HukhLatri is an independent website that publishes calculators and long-form guides for everyday questions about money, health, writing and online security. It is run from Jammu & Kashmir, India, and written mainly for Indian readers, which is why the examples use rupees, lakhs and Indian rules such as GST and RBI directions.
Why it exists
Most calculator sites hand you a number and nothing else. You do not learn how the number was made, so you cannot tell when it does not fit your situation. We wanted the opposite: a tool you can use in ten seconds, and underneath it a page that explains the formula, works one example through by hand, lists the mistakes people make and says plainly what the calculator ignores.
Who writes it
Zahoor Ahmad owns, builds and edits HukhLatri. He writes the guides, builds the calculators and checks the formulas against reference values before a tool is published. Reach him at hello@hukhlatri.in.
How we keep it accurate
- Calculator formulas are tested against hand-worked reference values. For example, the EMI tool is checked against the standard reducing-balance formula, and the GST tool against simple inclusive and exclusive cases.
- Rules that change, such as GST slabs after the September 2025 reform or RBI prepayment rules from January 2026, are confirmed from current sources before we state them, and articles carry a date.
- When a reader reports an error, we check it and fix the page. Corrections are made in place.

How the site pays for itself
Hosting and development cost money, so the site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence on tools or articles, and we do not accept paid placements inside guides.

The calculators run in your browser and what you type into them is not sent to us. The advertising and analytics services described in the privacy policy may set cookies.
