How This Conversion Works

This tool uses SheetJS to parse your Excel or CSV file entirely in your browser and render it as an HTML table, which is then converted into a paginated PDF. Multi-sheet workbooks let you select which sheet to convert. No file is ever uploaded to a server.

When to Use This

  • Sharing read-only data: send a snapshot of spreadsheet data without giving an editable file.
  • Printing: more predictable, consistent output across printers and devices.
  • Archiving: PDF is a more stable long-term format than spreadsheet formats.

Limitations

Very wide spreadsheets scale to fit page width, which can make small text harder to read. Cell formulas convert to their calculated values, not the underlying formula. Charts and embedded images are not included, only tabular data.

Your spreadsheet is processed entirely in your browser using SheetJS. It is never uploaded anywhere.
