How to Get a YouTube Transcript

Open any YouTube video → click the "···" (more) button below the video → select "Show transcript" → a panel opens on the right showing the full transcript with timestamps → click and drag to select all the text (or click inside and press Ctrl+A / Cmd+A) → copy and paste it into this tool. Note: not all videos have transcripts — auto-generated captions are available for most videos in supported languages, but the creator can disable this feature.
