I'm a PhD scholar in Information Technology at Cluster University Srinagar, working on AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a particular focus on federated learning and NLP for low-resource languages like Kashmiri and Dogri, languages that get almost no attention from mainstream NLP research despite millions of speakers.
I started HukhLatri because I kept building small tools for my own research workflow, a word counter here, a hash generator there, and realized most "free tools" sites online were either ad-choked, slow, or quietly harvesting whatever you typed into them. Everything on this site runs client-side in your browser for exactly that reason: I wanted tools I'd actually trust with my own data.
Outside of the PhD and this site, I'm interested in how technology can support regional development in J&K, particularly around agriculture, language preservation, and access to digital tools in areas mainstream tech products tend to ignore.
I write and build everything on HukhLatri myself, the tools, the blog posts, the formulas behind the calculators. When I reference a source (WHO guidelines, RBI formulas, NIST standards), I've actually gone and checked the primary document rather than copying a number from another blog.
